Ahhh... April Fool's day!

Actually, it's kind of true. Daddy says we've adopted a surrogate family...
There's this little girl and Mom who just came from Taiwan. They don't speak Cantonese and have been looking to make friends with me.

The little girl goes to my school too... so I think she sees us at the bus stop. Since Daddy talks to me in Manderin, they probably knew that they could talk to us...

One day after school, Daddy had brought me my bicycle to play. We were at the park and about to leave... when Daddy saw the girl and her Mom watching us. Finally, Daddy started talking to them and they were so relieved! So now I have a new friend, her name is Cherry. Her Mom's name is Katherine and Dad's is Tim.

They live in the same building 2 floors down too! They are here because Cherry's Dad has a job in Hong Kong (just like my Mommy has one here too.) Cherry speaks only Manderin really, so I will have to practice more too.

That week we met them, we had dinner with Cherry and Katherine almost everyday... It will be very nice to have playmates other than my Mommy and Daddy.
