HO!

This summer I've had a few crushes... one for the 200lb girl.
That's a Korean movie silly... The girl was so pretty, I kissed the DVD cover and wanted to watch the movie over and over.

Then there was Ms Annie. She teaches me at KidScience class.
Mommy was worried I'd be bored this summer so she signed me up for Mad Science, and then Kid Science. The Mad Science teacher was not as nice... but oh... Ms. Annie.

One day I said to my Auntie Gloria...
"Auntie Gloria... you're cute. But Ms. Annie is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L."

Sigh Mommy's very worried about her boy... girl troubles already. Mommy thinks I must like her because of her great outfits. She's always wearing such a short skirt.

She made sure that I took a picture with Ms. Annie to show me when I get older.

Oh last but not least, then there's the High School Musical girls and me.
You'll have to ask Mommy about it if you want to know more.

One day I came home after school and being the mischievous boy that I am, I accidentally got my pinky caught in the door.

Auntie Gloria being the worry wort - asked me what happened. I said it's nothing...

What I didn't know was she watched me confess to my little pinky later that night when I was in bed. I had hurt my little pinky - so I had to tell it I was sorry and that I would not do that again.

"poor pinky. i'm sorry pinky. you'll be okay my pinky..."

Everyone worries about me so - I must be more careful!

We've found a new school for me... Daddy's says it's a good one - Mommy's not so sure.
So Mommy searched on the internet for some information...
She found out that in June someone else's Daddy paid $1million HKD for a debenture for the school. I'm not sure how it works - but his little girl got a seat in the school.
Don't worry - Daddy and Mommy didn't pay anything, I guess during my 1 hr 15 minute "assessment" I showed them.

Since I'm in this good school, Daddy and Mommy have started to look at homes to buy.
Almost every weekend we look at many apartments. Most are stinky and old.
Mommy says the closest friend we have in Hong Kong is Rick the real estate guy... because we see him more often than anyone.

But sometimes when we walk by a person trying to sell us something or give us something,
I say... "No thanks gotta go..." with a shake of my head and a wave of the hand.
Just like my Daddy does.

For the rest of my holiday break - Auntie Gloria took me to visit Auntie Rona sometimes.
One time we met one her friends and we were eating some snacks. I noticed she was eating with her hands. In my own silly sweet way, suggested she try using a spoon... then remarked were her hands clean? You know because that is what everyone says to me. Everyone had a big laugh.

Then another day... I wanted to watch TV. Somehow we got into talking about how everyone tells me that I cannot watch anymore... and I came up with:

Daddy says, "NO TV!"
Auntie Gloria says, "No TV."
Mommy says, "no tv?"
Pau Pau says, "maybe just a little."

They're all so silly... but it's the truth.

This Christmas we had Gong Gong here already from my birthday.
But then Pau Pau came... then Kau Fu and Yee Yee... yippee!
Auntie Rona - Auntie Gloria's sister came over for dinner too! It was lots of fun.

Mommy asked Pau Pau to make eggplant parmigiana... because she can't find tasty one in Hong Kong. And Mommy ordered turkey (a few days before Christmas! again!) that was delivered! She ordered it so late, it was half price... silly Mommy. The next morning, Kau Fu made us brunch! Salmon and asparagus with homemade Hollandaise... it was sooooo yummmy. Pau Pau and Gong Gong were so happy to have some of Kau Fu's yummy cooking. I already was lucky to have lots of Kau Fu's cooking from last May when he stayed with us.

To make another special day - Mommy and Daddy bought tickets to "Happy Feet" at the special movie theatre at the mall - the Director's Club. We had 9 tickets out of the 16 seats.
Mommy, Daddy, Me, Kau Fu, Yee Yee, Gong Gong, Pau Pau, Auntie Gloria and Auntie Rona. We had almost the whole theatre! I ate lots of popcorn! Mommy did too, she loves popcorn as much as I do.

Mommy did make sure I had the salty one... not sweet... : (
But no matter, one day I was at the mall with Pau Pau and Gong Gong, and I got them to buy me the sweet one without them even knowing what hit them. Mommy told them she doesn't let me have the sweet one... and they said well they didn't know, but that I surely knew what I was doing. : )

Eventually, everyone had to go home... but not before Pau Pau got everyone sick with a stomach virus... I lost my baby fat. Mommy laments to this day, that my baby fat never came back.

This year I asked Mommy for a Christmas tree. Upon this request she pulled out the mini SILVER Christmas tree from New York, as with a small apartment in NY there isn't much room. Plus it didn't look so small when I was 1 year old.

I was so excited to put up a "Christmas tree"... but after putting it together it just didn't seem like the nice big full green festive beautiful Christmas trees that my Pau Pau has every year.

So I said I want a GREEN one and BIG one.
Mommy's little 2 foot silver Christmas tree wouldn't be too festive especially for having Pau Pau, Kao Fu and Yee Yee flying across so many miles to come to Hong Kong.
What the heck was Mommy thinking?

So we went to Toys R' Us for really last minute shopping, by far not Mommy's first choice... but its very limited where to get a tree in Hong Kong the week before Christmas I suppose.
We actually got the "last one" tree. Mommy was just coming back from being away a week in Korea and Philippines... so I guess it's understandable that we didn't have the best choice - but lucky we found one.
The tree originally started looking like the Charlie Brown Christmas tree, very sad and in need of lots of help... verge of pathetic. Our ornaments were last minute Toys R' Us plastic ones from China, which still bother Mommy now. We have nice ones - just not in Hong Kong... guess Mommy will have to remember to bring them for next time.
Then with a few more lights and ornaments, it became a respectable tree. I guess our love and attention did the trick. Though, the lights have a way of flashing that make everyone dizzy.

Yes, Mommy and Daddt love me so.
