Daddy makes breakfast and takes me to school... but today Mommy picks me because Daddy has a work interview.

I see Mommy through the door and I am so happy to her!
Mommy sees me and is so happy too... she sees my face and knows that I am not at all happy.
She wants to cry too... she inspects me that all is ok because she loves me so, and notices a scratch on my face. She knows my little face so well.

I tell her Dennis scratched my face and I told Ms. Lee. Mommy starts asking the teacher, but she doesn't know anything. Mommy takes me home down the stairs and down the hill... we find a taxi and go back to Shama. Mommy will make sure Daddy takes care of this tomorrow.

On the way back I see Pizza Hut... I am sure to tell Mommy that Daddy took me to have pizza and I didn't like it.
The taxi ride takes us through some bright sunlight... I tell Mommy... it's bright outside and that we are approaching a tunnel so it won't be so bright anymore. Mommy is so proud that I am so smart.

My first day... not so bad... so Mommy and Daddy think.
Daddy dropped me off... but didn't stay - the teachers said it would be better for me if he didn't stay.
I am supposed to take the International section in the morning for English then the afternoon is the Main section for Manderin, with nap and lunch in between.
When Daddy drops me off, I go off and play with all the new things in class.
Seems like a good start.

For dinner today, Daddy took me to Pizza Hut. In Hong Kong, Pizza Hut is like fine dining and a "hip" place to go. For me... I prefer my Ray's Pizza from 11th St. and 6th Ave. back home.

This morning, Mommy went to work. It was just me and Daddy at the apartment.
Daddy made some yummy French toast with the new tasty sugary syrup that Mommy bought since she couldn't find Maple Syrup.
Daddy also found Haagen Daz Green Tea ice cream for himself... I like the Melon one.
It has chunks of Canteloupe... I pick out all the Canteloupe.
We also went to my new school.
It's up a really big hill... but it looks really cool... so big!
And all the big buses! I want to ride one!

Mommy and Daddy waited all morning for me... and I finally did it!
I poopied in the potty!!!
Now I get candy and soda and cha-cha and ice cream and LEGOS!!!

So we went to SOGO and we bought a Legos "Goat" che-che.
It rears up and goes sideways!

We went to Mitsukoshi and SOGO... LEGOS, LEGOS and more LEGOS!!!
I don't have enough new Legos... : P

Daddy and I took a long long nap... so Mommy went out on her own and discovered a fried dumpling place across the street in the Food Forum next to CitySuper!... I like dumplings! Yummy!

At Shama - which we have found to be in Hong Kong's "Time Square" there's lots of shopping, food and people.

Our first day there... Mommy woke up to the familiar sound of beating of drums... Out the window was a dragon dance happening right below our building! She woke me up to show me... I was so excited... it was a Huge Gold Yellow Dragon. Mommy and I rushed to get dress and go downstairs... we saw it out side resting on the sidewalk. It was celebrating the opening of a store right next door to Shama. It was so cool.

When Daddy finally woke up... we took a stroll around the area...
There were a lot of people... all Chinese!!!

Today we go to Hong Kong!
First a SUV comes to pick us up... we have so many suitcases! I get to go through a tunnel!
When we get to the airport, PauPau and GongGong are waiting to see us off.
While Mommy and Daddy are checking us in... I play with GongGong and PauPau gives me a bag of gummi bears. It's for my ears and the change in air pressure, but I'm not really supposed to have gummi bears until I poopy on the potty...
Actually... no candy, no soda, no ice cream, no cha-cha until I poopy on the potty. I added the cha-cha on my own - because I know I'm really not supposed to have tea. Mommy doesn't approve.

After checking in - we say bye to PauPau and GongGong - they are going to miss me very much... just like my YeYe and NaiNai. I will miss them all too.
We head for the business class lounge... which isn't as nice as the one in Hong Kong - but entertaining enough for me that Mommy and Daddy can handle it. I eat lots of salad sandwiches and apple juice. One of the toys Mommy bought me kept me and Daddy busy for a while... Zoob is what is it called. Just as fun as Legos - but different. Daddy builds me a robot and I built a tower.
The only bad thing was this mean man who sat in our seat on purpose just to be mean. Mommy talked to him and he went away - but I made sure to yell at him a little too because he was definitely not a nice man. Just wait until my Daddy gets back!

I am an extremely good boy through the airport and plane, so on the long long long ride I get some gummi bears. I want a red one, green one, yellow one, white one and orange one. Just to make sure I have one of each. Mostly I watched some DVD's Daddy bought me, played on a DVD Player from Uncle Walter (FuFu.) I watched Tom & Jerry - my favorite, while I dined on grapes. To Mommy and Daddy's surprise I went to sleep on time and slept 8 hours! Without any help of medicine like everyone was suggesting Mommy to do.
When I woke up, breakfast was being served... but I wasn't very hungry. Taking a break from DVD's - Mommy brought out one of the many things she bought me for the trip. It was this book that has 4 colors of tape... and you get to put tape all over the book in pictures.

I played with that until it was time for the plane to fall down - I mean land. On my first plane ride before - I remember when the plane was descending I said it was falling down... Mommy and Daddy said to say the plane is landing so I don't scare all the other people.

We get out of the airport and a mini-van takes us to our new temporary apartment... it is so humid... Mommy and I are not very comfortable in this weather. The skyline is beautiful... we see boats and mountains and bridges. We go through tunnels to get to the hotel.

Finally we get there... Shama... looks like cool place. I REALLY like the pillows and blankets.

My last day at school. Ms. Lyndsay was so sad. Mommy and Daddy brought chocolate milk, wheat thins and Dunkin Donut munchkins for us to have as a little party. We had animal cups and plates to dine on. Tessa's grandpa bought me a going away gift and there were many hugs for all. Ms. Carly and Ms. Isabel were there to say good-bye too. Ms. Debra bought me a gift and stopped by for some hugs too... now Mommy and Daddy know where I have learned some of the silly things I do.

The school was also holding it's book fair. Mommy and Daddy bought books for the school as a donation from me, so that the Blue room could remember me... Since Daddy was buying the books, he was a little late for the party. I made sure to save him a plate. When Daddy arrived... I made a plate for him that a munchkin and some wheat thins. I like wheat thins... crunchy and salty. I'm not supposed to eat too many... but because it is my last day at school party, Mommy lets me eat as many as I want. I have many helpings then gulp down my chocolate milk.

During the day, while I was at school Mommy and Daddy packed up all our things for the movers. The 30 inches of snow almost all melted, but at least I got to have a fun ride to school on the snow in the morning. Mommy pushed the stroller over the snow and slush... exaggerating the bumpy bumpy parts... she made sure the ride was fun for me since I didn't get to play in the snow. Her arms were so tired from pushing me through, but my laughs and joy were all worth it. Mommy wanted me to enjoy the snow, especially since it doesn't snow in Hong Kong.

Mommy also went to Kidding Around to buy me new toys for the plane ride...
My Mommy loves me so... she spares no expense if she thinks it will bring me the slightest amount of joy.

At night, Yiyi came over... and Uncle Eric too. It was fun to see them again, I will miss everyone. Yiyi is worried I won't remember her... but of course I will remember, I'm a smart boy. (and strong too... I'm always saying that and showing my muscles.)

With all the fun and excitement... I might be catching a cold now. That should be lots of fun for Mommy and Daddy on the 16 plus hour plane ride... I always like to keep them on their toes.

30 inches fell... the most in a very long time for New York.
Another treat to remember in last fews day before leaving New York... elevator broken on moving day and then 30 inches of snow the next.

Last day at school is coming and Mommy hasn't planned anything for me... she and Daddy are still busy finding things to pack since they have some extra days. If only the elevator wasn't broken on moving day, then we'd have more than one night to relax. Our things are everywhere. Where are my blocks and trains? I only get to play with what Mommy and Daddy can get in hands reach.

It's the weekend before our big trip. I'm going to go on an airplane to Hong Kong!
Lunch out with family and friends... my last macaroni and cheese in New York. Where are we going to find mac and cheese in Hong Kong? Mommy is going to have to cook more!

Snowstorm... lots of snow.

Last day school coming.

Stuff packed up... lots of robots and legos. Mommy and Daddy keep having to dig out my toys so I can play one last time in New York.

Movers came yesterday, but of course of all days during the month - the elevator broke down temporarily... as a last treat we all got to walk up and down the 9 flights of stairs.
